Sources & AI Discovery

Learn how to add and configure data sources, and use AI to discover relevant websites.

AI-Powered Source Discovery

Don't know where to find leads? Let AI do the work. Our source discovery feature uses Perplexity AI to find relevant websites and directories based on your description.

How to Use AI Discovery

  1. Navigate to Sources → AI Generator
  2. Use either Generate Sources or Discover Sources:
    • Generate: Describe your project and target audience
    • Discover: Search for specific types of data sources
  3. Be specific in your descriptions:
    • Good: "Real estate agents in Manhattan, New York"
    • Better: "Luxury real estate agents in Upper East Side Manhattan"
  4. Review the AI suggestions
  5. Select sources to add:
    • Use checkboxes to select individual sources
    • Click "Select All" to select all suggestions
    • Click "Deselect All" to clear selection
  6. Click "Add Selected" to save chosen sources as drafts

Note: AI-discovered sources are added as Drafts. Review and configure selectors before activating them.

Best Practices

  • Start with a small test scrape to verify selectors

  • Keep sources organized within relevant projects
  • Archive sources you're no longer using
  • Regularly review and update selectors as sites change
